Fantastic beginner microscope that is safe. Microscope is made of sturdy plastic and features an unbreakable, rotating mirror to provide lighting whether inside or outside. It is equipped with a 100X eyepiece, an adjustable stage, that stops the slide before it comes in contact with the lens, and an attached swing-away objective that snaps into place to provide 150X magnification. Microscope is designed for use for grades 2 and up. Set includes 12 microscopes and everything is packaged in storage container.
