I do a lot of walking on city surfaces daily so the heel only lasts about 8 months. I add 10$ memory foam insoles and remove the ones that come with the boots. Hope this second pair holds up the same as the first. Once you get the laces adjusted you don't have to fool with them again because there is a zipper up the side. it makes it easy to pull it off.
