Insert 4 AA batteries before use (not included). Please read the following instructions for disassembling and reassembling the pepper mill. 1. Grip the body of the mill in one hand and the base in the other.(There are 2 up arrows and 1 down arrow on the mill. )2. Turn the body counterclockwise until the down arrow is aligned with right up arrow.3. Lift off the cover and remove the white plastic tube.4. Lift the motor unit off the grinder.5. Fit 4 AA batteries (not included) into the motor unit. Please make sure the polarities match.6. Fill the grinder with peppercorn， salt， and other small spices being careful not to overfill.7. Replace the motor unit， white plastic tube and body cover.8. Turn the body clockwise and align the down arrow with the left up arrow.9. Hold the mill above food and press the button.10. Release the button to stop. Notice:Do not use both new and used batteries at once.Do not leave the batteries in the motor unit for long periods of time when not in use.The batteries may leak and damage the mill.Shake the mill gently if it becomes clogged.If the seasoning becomes damp or the mill becomes too stopped up， empty the grinder and wipe it clean with a dry cloth.If the grinder is still stuck， rinse it under warm water.Before filling and reassembling be sure that the grinder is fully dry.
