PROS: *Our boys love it and have a great time playing with it so far. *It's hard to go wrong with Disney's CARS theme in our house. *Has a motor which sends the car around the race track - super fun. *Does work with other standard matchbox cars as well as with original.CONS: *Quality of track - transitions aren't as smooth as they could be. Could be from tracks warping in packaging or simply poor quality. *Car doesn't always make a complete loop. (More incomplete loops vs complete) *Haven't been able to create a criss cross action with multiple cars, especially since cars often fly off the track or don't complete loop on their own. *Only came with 1 car.NEUTRAL points to consider: *Setup is moderate, as the track rails have decals to be applied, etc. *Directions could have been clearer, but track setup was fairly intuitive from a common sense standpoint. *Only one track setup, so I could see the novelty wearing off soon, especially since we're having trouble getting more than one car going around.I wish we had more success with this product, because the concept is awesome. While the parents are underwhelmed, the kids are still enjoying it. I was really impressed with how it worked with multiple cars. The setup was easy and fast. The track itself is pretty big. My son was instantly adding the other track sets to the outside connectors to make a complete story. The only downside is that it's not collapsible like a previous version years ago. That feature would have made it an instant 5 stars and much easier to put away. Overall the value is great.. this is definitely a little crowd pleaser.
