Beautifully detailed 1/48 scale model kit of the World War II era German heavy-tank Pz.Kpfw.VI Ausf. H， commonly known as the Tiger I. Fitted with the deadly German 88mm dual-purpose flak gun and armored with 100mm thick steel plates， the Tiger I was deadly to opposing armor vehicles as well as anything that got in its way. The high-velocity 88 mm main gun enabled Tiger tank crews to destroy opposing tank at will， often at a distance well beyond the range of guns fitted on enemy armor vehicles. Although mechanical problems plaque the massive Tiger tanks throughout its operational life， the German Tiger was nevertheless an armor vehicle of unmatched strength and firepower during the Second World War， and it was universally feared. This Tamiya 1/48 scale assembly kit accurately reproduces the initial production model Tiger I tank serving in North Africa， and the kit comes with die-cast chassis， commander figure， and decals with 2 sets of markings.
