While the picture on the box is deceiving because it shows the left snake jumping forwards and it looks a little smaller than you might anticipate, it is still a very great and cheap set. Anyways, since your probably wondering why the left snake doesn't jump forwards, I'll explain. The snakes tail lands on the left side of the lever which causes it to jump backwards while the right snake has its tail on the right. So to the pro's and cons. Pro's: -Venomari Staff ( I like how the staffs feel you make feel like they are special when they are just a mold of gold colored plastic.) -Cheap -Levers make snakes fly. -It comes with Zane ZX, one of my favorite ninja's. -I like the snakes as well. Nice looking mold. -Use of transparent pieces. -Brick Pieces Con's: -Left snake. (Whats the point of backward flying when Zane is obviously going to be at the front?) -Should have came with an Venomari snake. ( The mini-figures, not the actual snakes, since they are already there) Also, I forgot to mention that the snakes can be used as weapons!Written by a customer while visiting shop.LEGO.comWas this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)ReportDeep within the toxic bog caves...2/12/2012Average rating:5out of5stars, based onreviews2/12/2012by IndianBonesSulfrix9I got this set early last month, along with the mountain shrine set, and it was a GREAT BUY! The jumpin' snake feature is fun, and Zane ZX is one of my fav ZX ninjas, (He's so detailed) The staff is cool, and it's actually HARD PLASTIC! (I thought it was goin' to be some silly rubberish material!) It's cool having a Venomari set, WITH THE STAFF, before most the Venomari's will be launched in summer.:) The kantaca (Spelling?) is cool, though they should have included two, but I already had LOTS of silver kantacas, so I fixed this. I LOVE the new brick pieces, and the idea of the snake head, dripping venom, so it looks like fangs, into the toxic river below. It's SO EPIC LOOKIN'!!!! Pros and cons: Pros: 1. Zane ZX! (Next to Cole ZX, he's the coolest ninja minifigure EVER made) 2. Venomari mini snakes. (I love the new snake design, I have lots of the original red and green ones from years ago) 3. The shrine it's self is SO COOL LOOKIN' 4. The kantaca sword 5. Venomari snake staff. 6. Jumpin' snake feature works very well. (You can have competitions to see who can launch the snakes the furthest) Cons: 1. Only ONE sword, when Zane's armour can hold two) 2. One of the snakes often takes the 1by2 plate with him when he's launched (Though this doesn't happen on my brothers) This is the best small set I've ever had, even better than those awesome small Atlantis sets! I would SOOOO definitely recommend this to ANY one of EVERY AGE (Above 3 years old of coarse:P) InianaBones, signing out.Written by a customer while visiting shop.LEGO.comWas this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)ReportRead all reviews
