Like the force of a falling comet, F.T Island"s debut release Cheerful Sensibility packed in a lot of energy. Their symphonious vocals meshed in perfect harmony with catchy mainstream tunes helped to stamp their name on the nation"s top band list in 2007. These five teenagers certainly deserve to enjoy a long rest especially since accomplishing a string of chart-grabbing smashes like Sarangaari ("Love Sickness") and Chundoong ("Thunder") within just a few months" period. Nonetheless, time is of essence when it comes to pleasing their fans, as they make a quick return to present a special album entitled The Refreshment.

Their latest release comes in two discs containing an assortment of old and new tracks, plus an interactive music program for fans to explore their own musical creativity. Disc 1 features 3 new songs and rearranged songs from their previous album. Disc 2 is in Music 2.0, which allows the fans to freely mix the sounds in whichever style they desire. Such interaction is possible due to a special audio source format in which vocals along with other instrumental sounds such as piano, guitar, and drums are individually stored. In addition to the discs, The Refreshment comes with a 60-page photo book where the five boys are seen relishing the typical lifestyle of teenagers. Also included in the photo book are printed autographs from each member of the group.
