Product Description
Are you capable of landing backside triple-cork 1440s? Torstein Horgmo sure is, and you can bet that his signature DC Media Blitz Snowboard is able stomp the world's toughest tricks with clean style and boss-like authority. This true twin deck crushes the gnarliest slopestyle courses, big air jumps, and freestyle features with its highly responsive flex pattern, traditional camber, and bombproof build quality. Made with traditional camber, the Media Blitz offers the pre-loaded snap, instantaneous response, and aggressive bite that high-caliber freestyle riders demand. This is definitely not a 'beginner-friendly' deck, since it requires authority to initiate turns, butter, or press on. However, to the advanced-level slopestyle shredder, this deck provides the high-speed stability needed for 50-foot-plus kickers and high-consequence rails found throughout the world's most demanding parks. Designed with Tips Up construction, the board's effective edge is elongated, allowing you to ride the Media Blitz roughly four centimeters smaller than your average park deck. This allows you to ride a shorter board with less swing weight without sacrificing stability or edge grip. Plus, the pulled-in tip and tail kicks won't hang up when you spin on and off rails, boxes, and freestyle features. Inside the guts of this freestyle machine, you'll find a supremely durable Impact core that consists of poplar and ash for bombproof build quality and tons of pop. Its quadrax fiberglass and carbon stringers further add to its highly responsive feel, making the deck torsionally stiff for stomping heavy landings. In addition, it features DC's Fresh Deck topsheet for added pop, much like that of a crisp skate deck. This laminated wood topsheet provides a cool wood-grain finish for added aesthetic appeal.
