Overview

Compact and lightweight design with image circle matching CCD size of 23.5 x 15.7 mm.

Simple lens omitting the aperture ring.

After focusing with AF, Quick-Shift Focus Sysytem is adopted, shifting to MF as soon as focus ring is adjusted.

Designer's comment

For us, the product / market, a digital single lens reflex camera, is very important.

We aimed at a design that gives an impact to the market by introducing a new lens series specifically for digital cameras in that market.

(Of course it is assumed that it matches the camera body)

Focus the image circle of the lens to the CCD size of 23.5 x 15.7 mm, omit the aperture ring, turn the focus ring after focusing with AF, move to MF, etc. Characterize both the form and the function as the lens for the digital camera
