Wasabi, also known as "Japanese horeseradish” is a perennial plant that grows wild in the mountains where deep spring water flows.

Traditionally used as a seasoning for its aroma in China and Japan. In Japan, wasabi and shoyu are often used as mustard to dip sushi and sashimi in.

Wasabi enhances the taste of many dishes and also works as a germicide. It is an indispensible condiment for sushi and other raw fish cuisines. Ingredients : Horse Radish, Japanese Wasabi and Gardenia*.
(*Gardenia is used as a natural coloring to enhance wasabi's green color).
Preparation : Dilute 1 teaspoon of wasabi with a few drops of water. Mix well, cover and let it stand for a few minutes to enhance hotness.

Storage : Keep in a cool dry place.
