The handle length is just right for anyone over 6' 2" tall ( me ) You can easily reach all the necessary places .. It has long synthetic bristles that are not too rough that hold soap well .. The handle was the right length, bristles soft enough that it doesn't scratch and I don't have to immerse my hands into cold water as I would if using a sponge on these sub-freezing winter days to remove the salt residue from the road de-icing materials.
