Product Description
Haix Missoula, a Hiking / Wildland 8" boot. With its rugged Vibram® heat resistant sole, the Missoula has a stable non-slipping sole edge and a specially designed heel to keep you on your feet on any terrain. The non-heat transferring composite midsole also offers optimal side stabilization for hiking. And with NOMEX® laces and stitching, your feet will be protected. HAIX® uses the same glue that is used in their structural firefighting boots to attach the sole. HAIX® glue is heat resistant to 250° C (or 476° F), that's 2 1/2 times more heat resistance than similar Wildland boots. Delamination of the sole should never be a problem with the Missoula! Note: The width of the Missoula would best be categorized as a FULL width accommodating both a standard medium or wide foot, but most likely not a very wide foot.
