What is SMART ENTRY? The remote fob has a transponder which is detected by the main unit wirelessly, when you''re within the Smart Key detection zone range, confirming that you have the keys on you. The car will then go into unlock standby when it recognizes tranponders'' security code it fully unlocks, allowing you to enter the car. Once inside, the transponder transmits a security code which deactivates the immobilizer, the car is then ready to be started. We use LFID(low frequency identification) technology. Just walk close to your car EP400 will communicate with the remote fob and lock and unlock automatically. EP400 will make your car much more convenient to use. KEY-LESS GO (PUSH START) When transponder transmits a security code and deactivates the immobilizer, the car is now ready to start. You can simply push the button to start the car. With out the EP400 fob the car wont start.
