Discussion: Antioxidant LA provides R+ lipoic acid and N-acetyl-L-cysteine in a powerful combination antioxidant formula. The R+ form is the only biologically active form of lipoic acid and NAC is the most effective enhancer of the all-important antioxidant glutathione (GSH). Antioxidant LA is formulated to extend the benefits of these antioxidants for the maintenance of good health.
Suggested Use
Adult Dosage: Take 1 capsule three times daily with protein-containing meals or as directed by a qualified health care practitioner.
Other Ingredients
Non-medicinal ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose polyethylene oxide.
Capsule: hypromellose.
AOR guarantees that there is no more than 5 mg of S-lipoic acid per capsule and that no ingredients not listed on the label have been added to the product. Contains no wheat gluten corn nuts dairy soy eggs fish shellfish or any animal product.
Warnings
Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 3 months or if you have diabetes. Do not use if you have cystinuria/cystine kidney stones or are taking nitroglycerin. Do not use with antibiotics charcoal and over-the-counter antacids.
Capsule contents may appear shrunken; this is a normal occurrence due to the advanced release matrix.
