Product introduction
The CMOS sensor plays an important role of converting the light captured by the lens into an electrical signal.
In order to realize higher quality images, we have newly developed a 16: 9 motion picture dedicated sensor that also supports 4K recording.
By dedicated design, the light receiving area used for movie recording has been increased 1.6 times compared with the previous model (* 1).
Moreover, it has 5.3 times the area of the conventional image sensor (* 2), realizing images with less noise even in low light conditions as well as high resolution.
Adopted "ZEISS (Zeiss) Barriozoner T * (Tea Star)" lens which was newly developed to realize high-definition drawing.
By incorporating a thin aspheric lens "AA lens (advanced aspherical molding)" developed independently by Sony, we achieved both high depiction performance over the periphery of the lens and substantial thinning of the lens body.
In addition, the lens is provided with a multilayer coating "T * coating" that reduces unwanted reflected light such as ghost and flare.
This demonstrates overwhelming rendering performance and expresses the air feeling of the scene.
