I've never used one of these before-- I struggle with acne even while using acne wash so this made me curious.I can say that I definitely do less damage with this tool than I do with my fingers or nails. I find less tiny cuts.However, it is still painful to use depending on what exactly you're going after- to boot it doesn't get everything out. It leaves you feeling like there's still swelling and irritation under your skin. So the head of the issue- not the root. I've managed to grab a few blackheads with this- I wouldn't sit here and do my entire face, though. It hurts and I'd look like a fish by the time I was done with all the scale indentions I'd have from trying to be thorough.I can compliment the grip and sturdiness, thankfully. If you're looking for that much- you've found it. I haven't witnessed any bending or cracking from how vicious I am with this stuff.But I definitely wouldn't buy again and I'd be very hesitant to refer to a friend.
