During that period, the cream was a light brown/tan that was easier to work into my face (I'm Black with light brown skin). The current product is a white cream, so I have to ensure I thoroughy rub it into my face so it doesn't make me look pale or like I have left streaks of lotion on my face. Overall it does what I need it to do which is reduce the amount of shine on my oil prone face. I mostly use the product alone after applying a light lotion (so no foundation, powder, etc after application of the primer). It lasts about six hours or so before I would need reapplication. It doesn't dry out my skin, cause breakouts, or have a funny smell.
