I have used it in the shower and as a normal part of washing my face. This is not a product I would ever purchase for my own use. I was not happy with the lack of lathering in the shower. I also did not feel it was cleaning my skin like I am used to. I am an athlete and sweat buckets. I had to use many many squeezes of this product just do get a little bit of lather worked up. When it was worked up and I used it on my body, I didn't feel like I was getting a thorough cleaning like I do with a normal Dove Bar. I also feel like it didn't wash away completely when rinsing off under the water. I felt it left a tackiness to my wet skin. In the morning, the product is an adequate facial cleaner, but again. it had a lack of lathering quality. I also felt, as i did in the shower, that the product left my skin feel tacky rather than clean. I ended up washing my face a second time using a normal Dove bar and felt much better. The product does have a nice smell to it, but that alone would not make me want to use it again nor recommend it. I ordered the Fresh Awake scent and it smells so good! Also it's convenient that's it's an all in one wash which is especially helpful when I shower at the gym so I don't have to carry multiple bottles. Cuts my shower time way down. Not sure why others have reported the consistency as watered down, mine was the normal consistency. I will definitely be ordering more! Although I couldn't place the scent, it was very vibrant. The granules in the think gel allowed to use less of the product to achieve the same amount of clean. I always prefer a gel because it doesn't run out of the bottle wating both the product and your money. The only issue I had was that the cap which was attached to the bottle was a little difficult to flip open with slippery hands in the shower. The scent is just right, not too overwhelming and not noticeable. I even got a compliment from my girlfriend about how good I smell. I especially like the fact that I can wash my face and body at the same time. My face was left with a nice moisturized feel to it. I would definitely recommend this for guys looking to get noticed.
