Aged Pu-erh Within Authentic Tangerine Peel

Original Place: Aged Pu-erh from Yunnan (云南) and Authentic Tangerine Peel from Xinhui, China

Process: aged ripened pu-erh tea is filled inside of the orange peel, making the tea mixed with the fragrant of orange.

Flavor: you can taste both the brisk fragrance of orange, and the mellow taste of pu-erh.

Meet this creative pu-erh tea: it is made of ripened pu-erh tea leaves with Chenpi. The pulp in the orange is removed and filled with aged ripened pu-erh tea leaves from Yunan.  

Chenpi is a Chinese phrase means the dried peel of orange or tangerine. It can be used in food, as well used as drugs in long established traditional Chinese medicine.

A wonderful combination of Yunnan aged Pu-erh is stuffed in Xinhui dried tangerine to give it a new smooth and uplifting citrusy aroma. While according to the theory of Chinese medicine, both Pu-erh and Chenpi are warm and good for stomach and aid digestion. For a stronger flavor of orange in the tea, one can break 3 or 4 small pieces of Chenpi off from the whole tangerine peel, and then brew it together with the tea.
