Product Description

Wappen Von Hamburg was commissioned by Admiral Karpfanger, and she distinguished herself as a Convoy Escort Ship, sinking several pirate ships during her short but successful career. On October 10th, 1683 fire broke out on board in the port of Cadiz. The magazine exploded killing Admiral Karpfinger and 22 others, leaving the ship destroyed. This kit is a fine replica that honors her and her crew. This is a double plank on bulkhead kit, and all woods were laser-cut for accuracy and perfect cohesion. The Wappen Von Hamburg'' comes with an incredible set of fittings comprised of gilded metal, copper, brass, and hardwoods that replicate every detail of the original. She comes with 58 cannons, and this model allows one to see the lower deck when you lift the upper deck gratings. Comes with detailed plans and instructions, though it is recommended for intermediate to advanced builders. Sail material, banners, and wood display cradle complete this aesthetic and exhaustively detailed kit!
