I tried one out and stopped using brushes altogether, because oh my science, brushes are nothing to the sponge.About a year ago I started trying to be as zero waste as possible. For those of you who do not know what that means, it is essentially trying to avoid waste, especially plastic waste. Beauty Blenders are an entirely plastic sponge, so they will NOT biodegrade when you throw them out with your trash, they will sit in landfill, or worse, they could end up in waterways since they are so lightweight. These are 70% plant-based. Although not perfect (I am seriously rooting for ecotools on a 100% biodegradable plant-based version!!), these are far less toxic and more likely to biodegrade. The best part is that they work nearly as well as the Beauty Blender, so much so that I doubt the average person would notice a difference, and they cost far less. I only use one color correcting color (green for redness) but you can NOT mix the green concealer with your normal concealer or the green doesn't work! So having multiple sponges is key! I use the green to apply and blend and then use the orange one for my everyday concealer. Then I use the purple for touch ups and keep it in my makeup bag and the pink for lip blending!
