I'm not sure when Nivea changed the scent, but I just received a new package of the Sensitive Post Shave Balm and am very disappointed. The original After Shave Balm had a wonderful scent that always elicited positive comments and praise. I love the scent of the original most. Being the original formula it has some alcohol in it. I believe after scraping off 2 layers of skin that an antiseptic is necessary and beneficial, hence the alcohol. It does not dry my skin like some claim. The sensitive skin formulas do not contain alcohol. They also do not have parabens! I use this after wet shaving with the tubed shave cream and a brush. The healing properties and scent are the best...my partner loves it too and has started to use it. "He likes how I smell and wants to smell just like me." The tubed shave cream and original after shave balm I have to order online as I can't find them locally. Though, the sensitive after shave balms are easy to find. I wish I could add them to this review as recommended products but they are not on this site either. The tubed shave cream stands up to all the artisan shave soaps out there and has an awesome ingredient list to boot! Unheard of for mass produced products! Very impressive if you ask me.
