That is 75 gallons of water to one bag. I soak for 1-2 hours at a time. The osmosis transfer of wastes like uric acid leaves through the skin with the help of the salt. This helps your kidneys as the organs will have less waste to process. My eczema causes cuts on my hands, like 7 cuts at a time so I use prescription ointment on my hands. The first bath I put about half the carton in there, and sat in for about 2 hours. The next day I noticed my skin was really smooth and started to look like it was healing. No dryness and I was able to just put regular lotion on my hands. It is a very nice treatment.
