(the "company") warrants all ultrasone products (the "product") against manufacturer material defects inside of the product's headband, ear cups, cables (including adapters) and internal components(1) for products purchased prior to january 1, 2010 for a period of two (2) years from the date of original purchase from an authorized ultrasone inc. dealer, excluding the edition8 series headphones.(2) for all hfi, dj and pro series headphones purchased on or after january 1, 2010 for a period of five (5) years from the date of original purchase from an authorized ultrasone inc. dealer(3) all in-ear's for a period of (5) years from the original date of purchase from an authorized ultrasone inc. dealer(4) all edition series headphones for an initial three (3) years from the original date of purchase from an authorized ultrasone inc. dealer. if customer so chooses, this warranty may be extended an additional 2 years. information is available on the card provided inside of the edition series box.(5) all refurbished/recertified/b-stock product sold by the company or its dealers and distributors, will be covered by this warranty for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.if the product is determined to be defective during the warranty period, company may, at its sole discretion, either;(1) repair the defective product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts,or;(2) exchange the defective product with a company product that is new or that has been recertified using new or serviceable used parts that are at least functionally equivalent to the original product. ultrasone inc. guarantees replacement products, including labor, for a period of one year from the date of repair.
