Facts about pure beeswax candles:
- Burn longer
- Burn smoke free
- Natural ioniser when it is burning, purifying your air of dust, pollen, odours, toxins, mould and mildew whilst leaving a very light, natural honey scent
- Burns the dust and toxic fumes, drawing them closer to the candle through the force of convection - the dustier your environment, the darker the pool of wax around the wick of your candle

Paraffin is a by-product of petroleum and emits harmful petro-carbon soot when burned that can nullify the healthy effects of essential oils. Paraffin wax can contain up to 11 known pollutants. When the candles are lit, these and other substances are released into the air and are inhaled.
Note:
Candles must be burnt correctly. Incorrect burning will result in candles that smoke, spill and do not optimise their burning time:
· Trim the wick to about 5mm every time before you light up - if the flame does not demonstrate a true tear drop shape, trim again if needed
· Always place on a heat and stain resistant surface
· Remove all labels and decor from your candles before lighting and remove all wick debris during the burning process
· Avoid drafts (wind) to keep flame under control. Extreme temperature can crack or melt the candle
· NEVER leave your candle unattended. Keep out of reach from children and pets.
· IMPORTANT: Burn at least 2- 3 hours and/or allow the molten wax to reach almost to the edge of the candle on FIRST burning. This sets the 'candle memory', ensuring optimum burn time. Thereafter, burn about 2-3 hours each time - people stop responding to scents after a while.
