Which filters do I use for my Instapure® faucet system?
Instapure® (R2)Essentials filters are compatible with Instapure® (R5)Complete systems and vice versa. (R8) Ultra filters are not compatible with other units.

How often should I change my filter?
Replace filter every 200 gallons, 3 months or if you experience a reduction in water flow1. (R8 filters should be replaced every 100 gallons, 3 months, or when the indicator light turns red, whichever comes first2). It's important to change your filter regularly to maintain optimum performance. Users with hard water should increase frequency of filter changes.
*Filter cartridge life is directly dependent on your local water conditions and frequency of use.
*Do not use with hot water or water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
What does Instapure® remove from water?
The BPA-free Instapure® filters reduces chlorine (taste and odor) to deliver great-tasting Instapure® filtered water.
What is the shelf life of a Instapure® Filter?
The shelf life of an unused, packaged filter is indefinite. Filters should be kept in the sealed bag and stored in a cool, dry place until you’re ready to use them.

Are Instapure® parts dishwasher safe?
Instapure products are not dishwasher-safe. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Rinse well.
TIP: For best results cleaning chrome system parts, wipe with a soft sponge soaked in vinegar or submerge in vinegar for tougher build-up.
Note: Remove Filter Cartridge before cleaning, do not attempt to clean the Filter Cartridge.
Special Note: For F8 Units: Removing and installing the Filter Cartridge will reset the Gallon Counter, it is recommended that you replace the filter cartridge after cleaning.
