Once again, another outdoor version and a little sporty. I noticed this boot in photos and I felt a desire to share some review. This boot has been incredible when purchased 14 years ago. Not only would I recommend this to a friend. I'd recommend this...even to an enemy! The cash I traded for this purchase has been one of the best finacial improvemant than any savings account available. These boots have performed well in hard work with warmth in extremely low temperatures in severe cold winters. The've also worked well in the heat of summer in lawn and garden and even construction labor. It makes hard days to work easy to clock in and get things done. The only thing I've had to do for these boots is replace the shoe strings...once. Who needs a warranty? The receipt I got should be in the Smithonian Museum of American History. Was this review helpful?Yes (35)No (7)ReportNot for heavy use.6/12/2013Average rating:1out of5stars, based onreviews6/12/2013by hiiamkardinalI started a new job two weeks ago that requires steel toed boots. I didn't have a lot of money to spend at the time so I picked up a pair of these. They fit my foot well enough, and look good enough, however after the first day I started developing blisters. I bought some new insoles and that problem cleared up. That's not my issue with these boots. Although they could use better insoles, the overall quality of the boots is horrible. After my 8th day on the job, the leather along the sole of the boot split in two and it has gotten progressively larger every day I've worn them. Luckily they still seem to be waterproof, but who knows for how long. I will be upgrading to real work boots in the next few days and will not miss these things. They are good in a pinch, but when it comes to good boots, you get what you pay for.Was this review helpful?Yes (37)No (8)ReportRead all reviews
