     Measure the object that you will be shrink wrapping. Then measure out an area of shrink wrap sheet or tubing that is slightly larger than your first measurement (at least an inch larger).

   •  

     Cut your shrink wrap to size, if needed. Slide your object into the shrink wrap, if you are using a tube. If you are using a sheet of shrink wrap, wrap the object as you would any other package. Overlap the edges so that the entire object is covered.

   • Use a hair dryer or heat gun to apply even heat to the object. Only apply the heat for as long as it takes to shrink the wrapping to cling to the object. Then remove the heat source. Allow the wrapping to cool.
