3 Steps to Gorgeous Hair

I’m not often wowed by hair products after the first use. But, when it comes to the new Kerastase Densifique range, I have been totally blown away!

This new hair systems works at building the hair, giving it visible density, shine and an all-round healthy appearance.

It’s a hair course that works in three stages to get the hair in tip top condition!

Now that you have the low-down, let me tell you what I thought about this range…

The Shampoo is amazing! It smells heavenly and works wonders at cleansing the hair. Since my hair is quite fine, I battle to find a shampoo that doesn’t strip the hair in the cleansing process. This one is great. Straight after use, even without conditioner, my hair still feels good!

The Mask treatment is luxurious, rich and delicate. I love how my hair is instantly more manageable, both in the shower and when my hair is towel-dryed. It feels smooth, silky and tangles are almost non existent. Combing it is an absolute breeze!

The Regenerate treatment is a real winner for me. Since I have fine hair that tends to get both knotty and greasy quickly, I generally avoid product overload. This treatment feels like water, and doesn’t add any of those nasty “oily” layers to the hair.

Usually, I have to wash my hair every single day if I want it to look half decent. Since using this range I can manage two days of beautiful, shiny hair and a third day of tie-me-up-in-a-bun hair.

I have had so many compliments on how shiny my hair is, I owe it all to Kerastase Densifique!

I can’t wait to see how my hair looks and feels after I’ve completed the 30 day course.

Kerastase Densifique for Thinning Hair

Thinning hair is an issue that more and more women can identify with – but most of us find difficult to tackle. We have blogged about this on here before. There are many ranges of haircare now to deal with this difficult, and, at times, embarrassing issue.
The latest comes form Kerastase, and follows the success of their in-salon Densifique hair density concentrate.


The range has four products in it (as well as a new in-salon treatment), all of them designed to give fuller, texturised and denser looking hair. Last year, Kerastase discovered Stemoxydine – the first molecule to activate new hair and more than 78% of women who used it products with it in saw their hair had more body, texture and density. Densifique acts in three ways:

Density – increases hair growth rate and number of hairs per cm2.
Smoothness – hydrates hair from root to tip and improves thickness of individual hairs
Volume and Bounce – hair is fuller with added bounce and more resistant to breakage

The products are:

BAIN DENSITÉ BODIFYING SHAMPOO (£17)
Containing stemoxydine, hylauronic acid, gluco-peptides and ceramides, this shampoo awakens the dormant hair bulbs, makes your hair suppler and more resistant. And it smells great.
 
MASQUE DENSITÉ REPLENISHING MASK (£27.50)

Same ingredients as the shampoo, this mask starts transforming your hair the minute it is applied. It regenerates your hair from root to end. Apply it to washed and towel-dried hair, starting from the roots and scalp, massage onto the lengths and ends, and leave for 3-5 minutes, then rinse.



DENSIFIQUE HAIR DENSITY CONCENTRATE (£46 for 10 day box, £95 for 30 day box)
This contains 5% stemoxydine, vitamins B3, B5 and B6 and texturising polymers, and is the most concentrated answer to thin, lifeless hair.

Apparently this concentrate can thicken the hair by more than 1700 strands in three months! Not bad. You apply this to a clean scalp on towel-dried or dry hair.

DENSIMORPHOSE DENSIFYING MOUSSE (£19.50)
Containing hyaluronic acid and gluco-peptides, this is a thickening treatment mousse, which will transform the hair, fibre by fibre. It visibly volumises. Shake it well, and apply an orange-sized amount (that’s quite a lot!) of the mousse on towel-dried hair. Use a comb to apply it through the hair, along the lengths.

The new in-salon treatment is the DENSIFIQUE FUSIO-DOSE – IN SALON TREATMENT
It’s an Intense Densifying Treatment with pro-calcium and omega 6 derivative. This new addition to the Fusio –Dose family tackles limp hair from two angles. The Densifique Concentré instantly offers more dense, more texturised hair thanks to its intense densifying effect, and the Densifique Booster takes action to revitalise the hair.
