




Spanish Moss (Tillandsia Usneoides)
Spanish moss (Tillandsia usneoides) is a flowering plant that often grows upon larger trees, native to much of Mexico, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Central America, South America and the West Indies.
The plant consists of one or more slender stems bearing alternate thin, curved or curly, heavily scaled leaves 2–6 cm long and 1 mm broad, that grow vegetatively in chain-like fashion, forming hanging structures up to 6 m in length.
Like any other Tillandsias; they do have flowers. It is going to be a wonderful thing when they bear flower. It’s flower can be brown, green, or yellow flowers and are tiny and inconspicuous.
As for now, enjoy the graceful dance of these long beautiful hairy plant in a windy day.

Applications :
Diluted 1 teaspoon of fertiliser into 1 litre of water. Mist the solution to the plant once a month on top of your regular watering. Do not over do with the fertisliser as can cause plant to suffer from nitrogen burn if overuse.
