I bought this set because I thought it would go well with the Castle sets and because I liked the wolf-like creatures (again, I don't know what they're called). Five figures and two animals for this set, which isn't bad considering the price. There are regular Lego heads for the Orcs and the hairpieces have ears attached. The tree was fun to put together. The top and middle sections rotate and with the way this is built, the tree does have the look of being old and gnarly (in a good way), The mushrooms at the base are a neat addition. While there is a lot of detail in the tree and the stone ledge thing, this set is more about the story and the figures than actual building. I could see this being really fun for someone who enjoys the book and movie.
