The sheets were extremely stiff so I washed them right away. I took them out of my washer and saw they had faded to at least 3 shades lighter than what they were... and they left a grey tint inside my washer. Put them in my dryer hoping it would seal in the color and when they were done they were about 5 shades lighter and my white dryer sheet came out grey. I wasn't happy with that but I loved the comforter so much I decided to put them on my bed anyway and give them a chance. Next morning when I washed my hands the soap came became grey! I thought... Oh my gosh the dye is still coming off! I quickly washed my face and neck... and grey came off there also. That was the last straw... I packed it all up and returned it all. If they had a '0' star option that would be what I would rate this as!! When I opened up the set I noticed the sheets were very hard like 10 cans of starch were used on them. So like normal I washed the sheets, when I opened the washer I noticed they faded it looked like they had white powder all over them. Also the shams the black bleed into the mint and white. The sheets also bleed and stained my one month old washer machine. So when I went to fold the sheets because I am returning the set ASAP I noticed my hands were black. Like in the other review, the sheets were initially stiff and so I washed them. Everything but the comforter faded. I initially thought it was residue from my washer or something so I put them back on my bed. The color from the sheets rubbed onto my skin and the wall. These sheets are terrible quality and after only two washes, are gray.
