Description
fortisip compact is a nutritionally complete, 2.4kcal/ml, milkshake style oral nutritional supplement, for the dietary management of disease related malnutrition. A 125ml bottle contains 300kcals and 12g protein, and can be used to supplement the diet of patients unable to meet their nutritional requirements from other foods,or used as a sole source of nutrition. Available in 7 flavours: strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, banana, forest fruits, apricot and mocha.
contraindications
not for intravenous use. Not suitable for children under 3 years. Use with caution in children aged 3 - 6 years.
precautions
not suitable for patients with galactosaemia.
suggested intake
fortisip compact is best served chilled. Shake well before opening.
