I exclusively breastfeed and feed on demand. I have a strong let-down reflex that was causing me to leak through disposable pads fairly frequently. I was also having some problems with my nipples sticking to the disposable versions as they were healing from cracking/bleeding and I was applying lanolin. I decided to give these a try to see if they were more absorbent, solved the sticking issue and also in efforts to save money as I was going through an entire box of disposable pads in a week. I only purchased one set (3 pairs) and I love them. I have only completely saturated one pair and that was after not pumping or feeding for several hours overnight. I have not had problems with nipple irritation or sticking to the pads and I have certainly saved quite a bit of money over using disposable pads. I would definitely recommend these to any breastfeeding mom! As with all reusable pads, they can stick to the nipple if milk has dried, but I just pull them away from the breast a few times after feedings to prevent that. I find disposable pads to feel moist and itchy even when dry, even though they don't stick to nipples. These are the best reusable ones I've found and awesome for long-term use.
