Tick-SR™ is patented new product. It works by dissolving the "glue" that creates a bond between the tick and the dog. At the same time it impedes the blood flow to the affected area, thus the tick's ability to feed. With the glue and food supply disrupted; the tick can be more easily removed. When the tick comes off, it is still alive and needs to be disposed of. Because we don't attempt to kill it, the risk of regurgitation is mitigated. The tick will do what he is naturally inclined to do, which is pack up and go to another host for more food.

Tick-SR does not kill ticks. Tick-SR aides in the safe removal of attached ticks. In addition, Tick-SR helps to prevent infection at the puncture site.

Tick-SR uses ingredients that are safe for humans and dogs. The chemicals used in Tick-SR are safe and non-toxic. The compound is actually used in a woman's cosmetic product. The ingredients are; salicylic acid (found in aspirin), witch hazel (a common astringent, found in toothpaste, etc.), BZK (just a common disinfectant) and denatured alcohol (while not safe to drink, is found in common use).

How to Use Tick-SR

Rub Tick-SR pre-moistened wipes over the area where the tick attached to your dog, while gently pulling as close to the mouth parts as possible.  

If the tick does not easily pull off, then reapply. Note that the longer the tick has been attached, the longer it will take Tick-SR to work. 

Tick-SR is most effective if used within twenty-four hours of the tick attaching.
