The monument and its history: Stramberk is located on a small mountain town in the region of Moravian, Czech Republic. Was founded by the Moravian margrave Jan Jind_ich Lucembursk_ (1322-1375), son of the Czech King Jan Lucembursk_ (1296-1346). It was recorded on 1211 that the Castle surrounds acquire the statute of a town. A dominant feature of both town and environs are the ruins of the Castle Strallenberg with its cylindrical tower called Trœba. unique in its architecture is a set of Wallahian timbered cottages from the 18th and 19th century, now most of these are under urban conservation.
