I already had an ecotools face mask I have had for over 3 years. it is my favorite because of the soft feel against my skin. I particular searched this brand so that I could get the same mask as before. The new mask are not made the same as they were years ago. The new mask feels rough on my face and I wake up with my eyes feeling dry. I wish the company had not changed the material in the mask. The old one is so much more comfortable and has that soft cotten feel to it. It is soft, cool, absorbs my night sweats, & it conforms & block the light pretty well. Unfortunately the elastic is dreadful. I have used the product through several changes of elastic style, & have found that the style is not so much the problem as the quality of the elastic itself. The most recent batch I have bought have literally stretched completely out of shape the first time I use them. I have to tie or pin them to be able to keep using them & to preserve some kind of conformity, but they slip around too easily because there is no elasticity. I am assuming the poor quality of the elastic is because it is somehow eco-friendly, but it also renders the product almost usless very quickly. Throwing out perfectly good masks as frequently as I have to because they can't be worn anymore can't be good for the waste stream, either.
