Red Filter:
Use for water depth of 10-20 meters, around noon can be used red, the main purpose is to restore the water to be absorbed red and to leave you with natural colors.
Yellow Filter:
Use in Tropical waters in the morning, shallow water, use in the blue water.There are few suspended solids in tropical seas, as a result, the long-wave scattering is relatively low and short-wave scattering is stronger. Light is absorbs more under the deep sea and then reflected and it shows blue on the surface. So we always use the yellow filters to correct the color in the morning on tropical seas.
Purple Filter:
There are many suspended solids in lakes and these solids always absorbs very little green light, thus result in strong scattered light. Plants in lakes also make lakes present green. That is why lakes always show as light blue or green on the surface. This filter will correct the color. It usually used in green water or nightfall. Scenery/Portrait photography can stronger the dreaming artistic effects.
