Mouth Guard is a protective device for the mouth that covers the teeth and gums to prevent and reduce injury to the teeth, lips and gums. It is mostly used to prevent injury in contact sports or as a treatment for teeth grinding (bruxism) or as part of certain dental procedure.

It is a polymer that approaches elastomeric materials in softness and flexibility, yet can be processed like other thermoplastics. The material has good clarity and gloss, low-temperature toughness, stress-crack resistance, hot-melt adhesive waterproof properties, and resistance to UV radiation.
