Gong Gong are harvested in Singapore. Gong Gong are found on sandy area. As a Result, Gong Gong has plenty of sand in its meat, BUT not ours. Our Gong Gong does not have so much sand and the reason is because after harvest, we make our snail purge on our farm. We typically hang them in a floating basket and let them purge in the running sea water. This way, not only the Gong Gong remain sandless, they have fresh oceanic taste.
Harvested and kept in our farm to purge out the sand thus our Dua tao has fresh oceanic taste with little sand.
