Dri-Tec Upper The Hi-Tec Wild-Life Lux I Waterproof Walking Shoes are constructed with a premium leather upper offering support and durability. The leather is coated in Hi-Tec exclusive i-shield invisible protective layer which repels water and dirt with ease, keeping your shoes looking newer than ever. Keeping you protected when the weather takes a turn for the worse is Dri-Tec technology which provides superior waterproofing and excellent vapour transmissions to keep your feet feeling dry and comfortable at all times. Keeping comfort at the highest, the rustproof hardware lacing system provides a secure fit, while the gusseted tongue helps to keep the debris out when on loose terrain. Ortholite Midsole The midsole is exceptionally comfortable thanks to the moisture wicking micro-fleece lining which will keep your feet feeling cushioned and dry at the same time. Additionally, an Ortholite impressions insole with slow recovery foam delivers superior cushioning and long-lasting comfort. Equipped with Hi-Tec's latest midsole technology XLR8 which is 10% lighter than regular EVA. XLR8 provides 10% greater rebound and 10% better energy absorption when compared to regular EVA. A moulded chassis is located at the heel which locks it in place for a secure fit. Lastly, embedded in the midsole is a nylon fork shank for maximum support when walking across varied terrain and for an improved gait. MDT Outsole Designed with a multi-directional traction (MDT) outsole to deliver the perfect balance of traction, protection and durability. The chamfered lugs allow dirt to be released quickly, improving traction across different terrain.
