It does last 24 hours, and possibly up to 48 hours in certain conditions. I am an active person though I have an office job, so I cannot attest to working in the hot sun as to how well this work day-to-day. But after working out in the gym I know that I won't be turning heads because of body odor. I used the regular Degree antiperspirant in my younger years and this Extreme version is definitely better for me, as the regular one seemed to not last the whole day anymore. Plus i like its woody smell. Degree adrenaline has a bit more active ingredient than most other deoderants. It has 19.2% aluminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrex. Regular degree has about 18%. Therefore, this is definitely a bit stronger. I sweat a lot and find this to be one of the few antiperspirants that really does make a difference. The smell is also pretty strong, which I don't mind, but if you have a sensitive nose, it might be a bit much.Great deodorant and antiperspirant. Probably one of the best out there, for me at least. I would definitly recomend this to my coleagues and friends. Realy awsome. I love it. I walk into the office and a female coworker will say, never ever fails, "Wow, you smell like you just stepped straight of out of the shower!" I even keep a stick in my desk at work to freshen up with in case there is a happy hour after hours. I'm a cologne guy, and I choose to wear this over many of the expensive colognes I have. It's just a stellar product. Oh yeah, and it works well for perspiration too. Lately I have become concerned because the Extreme scent has become scare in the Norther VA DC metro market. I'm not sure if it's a problem with your distribution network in this area but none of the stores where I would normally find this product carry it anymore. I have never had a deodorant I can Put on go through the day and sleep and lift my armpit sniff and still smell the fresh smell of the deodorant. I did reapply in the morning even though it says 48 hour. I don't want to risk smelling bad for my coworkers or anyone I am meeting in my travels today. The smell Is strong at first but dissipates quickly to a soft scent that lingers for a long long time. its not over bearing just there when you lift your arm.
