I bought this is for my cousin's birthday with a little help from my brother. It performs exceptionally well for the price range. I can control it better inside than out (figure that) but it isn't rocket science trying to be able to control the drone. The drone was able to do the turns, flips, and rolls like the product said it was. Camera isn't 5 star, but it still is able to shoot the pictures and video for a 18 yr old or younger. Videoing the dog as it runs away from the drone is a favorite. Charges quick and plays quick. Worth buying if you want a drone that will fall apart in 2 attempts or don't want want to spend $500 or more. If you're wanting to use this for professional photography, don't by a drone that is sold at Walmart... I got this as a gift for Christmas, and to be honest I wasn't expecting much. The drone itself is a lot of fun to fly, and is rather forgiving for beginner pilots/hobbyist. Being my first drone, I wanted to use this as a stepping stone to a more advanced drone, and I think if you can learn to fly this one, then you should be able to fly +$1,000 that practically flies itself.The product is made entirely of plastic, and comes with prop protectors and extra props and a couple of other extras for the other things that break. I haven't tried the camera out yet because I wanted to get use to flying and crashing before ruining the opportunity to even get any photos/video. But the camera looks and feels of plastic and very cheap as well, but the lens is something that would be on your smart phone. I'll update the review once I try out the camera and video, but again I'm not expecting too much, and I know it will be a little frustrating not being able to see what you are photographing/filming until you bring it back to Earth. It says that it has a range of 1000 ft but realistically, without an on-board in-flight camera you can only fly this thing as far as the eye can see, which I estimate to be about 300 ft - 500 ft, which is probably a good thing. On the bright side, this does come with a 8 GB micro SD card, and USB Micro SD Card reader, which is worth at least $20.
