It is great, rich and absorbs immediately without leaving my skin greasy. Perfect for dry winters in the NE area. However, I can barely stand the smell. There is no vanilla smell at all and it actually smells like rotten avocado! I will continue to use until the bottle is gone but will not repurchase, at least not this scent. I have been using DE shampoo and conditioner for a few months and they smell delicious so I had high hope for this products scent-wise. It's not bad, exactly, but it's not... lovely, which is what I'd expect from a vanilla chai fragrance. Regardless, this stuff is amazing! It keeps my very dry, sensitive skin from getting itchy and irritated in this winter weather, and even smoothes out the keratosis pilaris bumps on the backs of my arms. I feel moisturized but not sticky, all day. The consistency is kind of weird at first because it's made with natural oils, but I got used to that quickly. Just bought more because I'm scared to run out! After using it the second time, the smell seems to be more faint and as time goes on, the spice fragrance transforms into a light vanilla scent. I use it before bed and my skin has transformed from dry to glowing. If you love the smell of chai tea, you will not be disappointed at all. Its just one of those smells that makes your eyes roll back. Its very warm, calming and sensuous. Its just as great as a moisturizer as well! I'm usually impartial to body butters over lotions, however this lotion moisturizes just as well as any body butter! Its a very silky texture, I don't want to call it greasy because it is not, but it does linger a bit (which I personally love). Overall, it's just fantastic!
