I needed something to cover and protect the sofa from heavy using. I also have bad allergies and I needed something that could be washed frequently. We got 2 in the king size. This cover did the trick! The khaki one matches the color of the sofa; it is thin enough not look like a heavy bedspread and, it washes very well. We have had it for about a year now and it still looks perfect! My hubby is a warm sleeper but we both end up wanting something to pull up over our shoulders during the middle of the night when the sheet just won't quite do but a blanket is just too heavy and this is perfect! My comforter is rolled up down at the foot of the bed for summer, but come the colder months, this quilt/coverlet plus the comforter will be nice and cozy without being too heavy. And it is really pretty--a very light ivory or cream, which works perfect with my comforter and shams and the stitching is very nice too. It's very well made and a very good value! I just bought the Sleep Innovations gel foam + pillow top mattress topper from Walmart and with everything combined, we're sleeping great!!! I thought it would be easy, but I have not been pleased with the quality or color of the ivory quilts I have seen at stores. This quilt is very pretty...the color is not on the yellow side, which I dislike. The quilted pattern adds interest and beauty. I was worried that the polyester fabric would look cheap, but it does not. It refreshed and brightened the room and I'm happy with the overall look and quality of the coverlet. Bought this in the ivory for a soothing monochromatic/spa retreat look (ivory shag throw rugs, ivory curtains, espresso furniture) - and it looks very classy. I'm very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend.
