These chisels are made by a small tool manufacturer in the Czech Republic and are of exceptional quality. The blades are made from fine-grained, nicely tempered chrome-manganese steel and hardened to Rc 59. The blades take and hold an excellent edge. The blades sides are ground straight with no bevel and the cutting bevel is ground at 25 degrees. As with all fine edge tool, they will need final sharpening and honing before use. These chisels are an excellent value in a good quality tool. This is a Premium 4 piece set contains the following sizes: 6 mm (1/4 inch), 12 mm (1/2 inch), 20 mm (13/16 inch) and 26 mm (1 1/32 inch). Blades are 4 5/8 inches to 5 1/2 inches long. Handles are stained Hornbeam and 5 1/2'' long. Overall sizes range in length from 9 7/8 inches to 11 inches. Blades have well-seated heavy steel tangs and handles a brass ferrules to withstand vigorous mallet work. They do not come in any retail packaging
