Unlike other varieties, pu’erh undergoes a unique fermenting process that begins by compressing the tea leaves, dampening them and then resting the wet bricks so they can naturally age. The fermentation offers the taste buds a rustic richness that makes it a suitable substitute for coffee. How to brew the perfect cup of Vitacost® Chocolate Pu’erh Organic Tea:
Heat 8 ounces water to 205°F (96°C)
