The frame kits are constructed of roll-formed aluminum frame material and they come in a bronze painted color. With the components of these kits, a 48 inch x 48 inch screen frame can be constructed, as well as a separate 60 inch x 60 inch screen frame. Other (smaller) custom sizes can also be constructed from the same frame material of the above mentioned sizes. The parts included in this kit (besides the aluminum frame material), include the following items: Charcoal-colored fiberglass screen mesh, bronze plastic “square-cut” corners, black plastic lift tabs, steel tension corner-mount springs, a plastic combo spline-rolling tool, vinyl spline, plastic screen clips and #8 x 1 in. fasteners. With these window screen components, Zika-proof screens can be made using your choice of aluminum mesh, fiberglass fabric, or flexible poly film to fit your window openings by following the easy-to-follow instructions provided within each kit. Note: The only screen material included with these kits is the fiberglass fabric. These kits can be used with aluminum mesh and flexible poly material, but they are not included with these Zika window screen assembly kits. These kits are available in other sizes and colors, and they’re used by many for replacing damaged and missing screens. Note: The lineal pieces of the screen frame material are intentionally cambered (curved) outward, designed to prevent inward bowing when screen cloth is installed and stretched taut.
