Invented by mumpreneur Shae Thye, Sleepy Wings is a new and never seen before swaddling jacket for your baby. Mimicking a swaddling blanket’s function but at the same time taking away the unnecessary overheating & discomfort for a baby.
NO MORE scratching for your bubs as you no longer need mittens that always falls off! Sleepy Wings prevents your baby from scratching their face and aggravating existing skin conditions such as eczema, heat rashes and allergies.
Parents have found Sleepy Wings particularly useful for babies who experience eczema on their chest & tummy.
Solves the problem of how to avoid overheating in the torso area which can flare up eczema and can also stop bubs from scratching and further irritating their skin condition! ------ With 2 pockets for soothers, babies can self-sooth to get back to sleep easily.
------ Sleepy Wings is made from cotton/elastane therefore it is extremely comfy for the hot weather of Singapore.
Sleeping in air-conditioned rooms? Don't worry!
Pair it with a sleeping bag to keep baby warm. ------ Sleepy Wings can also be worn arms down if you prefer. Simply rotate the Wings and place each arm inside the wings separately with their arms down.
Without being completely restricted, a baby will still be able to move their arms towards their chin.
This is important for their bone growth & muscle development during their sleep.
This position can further prevent bubs from scratching and startling during their sleep cycles.
NOTE - "arms down" position is not suitable for rolling babies.
Bedtime of course! Sleepy Wings promotes longer sleep (this is what we know from parents that has used the Sleepy Wings! Tried & Tested!)
Babies cannot escape or free themselves as they can from swaddling blankets.
This reduces startle reflex and babies sleep longer with this reduction. ------
Wear them during milk feeds too! ------
You can also use Sleepy Wings when baby is out in their stroller or carseat.
Makes transferring them easier without the hassle of unnecessary movement and not disturbing their sleep. ------ And use Sleepy Wings whenever baby is itching and needs hands away from that precious face of theirs. The cotton/elastane is snug enough to keep hands down but at the same time, will not restrict their movement.
01. Lie baby on their back, centered and top of the Sleepy Wings.
02. Put each arm under the single oval arm opening, one at a time, into the adjacent wing with baby's positioned under the pocket.
03. Bring forward the ribbing on the oval opening to the front of the baby's shoulder for snug fit.
