I didn't hold out much hope for this lipstick because I have bought so many different ones in the past that were a disappointment. But this really lives up to it's name. The color payoff is EXCELLENT- my upper lip is naturally darker than my lower lip and Vivid Rose pretty much neutralizes the darkness without using a liner first. It's not as moisturizing as I would like but that's an easy fix, just put on some balm first. I've been wearing it for four hours so far and while some has come off (after eating and drinking), it's still nice and bright. The price is right and the product is pretty good for a drugstore brand.
